LOCATION: The village of Atia is located in Sozopol Municipality (Bourgas District, South-East Bulgaria). It is at distance 20 km from the city of Burgas, near to the highway Burgas – Sozopol. The beach of Atia facing north-east and is about 3km. long. Near the village (at 1km) is situated one of the biggest Bulgarian naval station Atia. The village of Atiya is located near Cape Atiya where its name comes, as its highest point is 14 m above sea level. Atya consists of two parts - the lower (sea) and upper (mining). The distance between them is 1 kilometers. Close to Atiya is located one of the largest Bulgarian naval bases. The beach of the village is in the northeast part of Atiya and is about 3 kilometers long. Sand is yellow-black, dense and mixed with golden flakes. Sea water is crystal clear, the seabed is sandy and low slope, no holes or pits. The water temperature in summer reaches 25-26 degrees. Beach itself is very undeveloped and deserted. Ideal for solar baths and fishing. Catching with boats is suitable in the "Black level", situated 2 kilometers from the shore and the depth of the bottom 20-30 m.
