LOCATION: The village of Sartsevo is located in Southeastern Bulgaria and it is part of Tvarditsa Municipality, which is the westernmost point of Sliven District. The name of the village is derived from the word sartse which means heart in English. Maybe the village was named after the local people's big hearts, or, it got its name because of the area beauty where it is situated. A river flows past the village. The Zhrebchevo Artificial Lake, which offers opportunities for camping, sunbathing and fishing, is nearby. It is located in the place, known as Medzherlika, in the foothills of the Sredna Gora Mountains. A sports and tourist complex was built near the dam lake.
