Village of Vasil Levski is located in South-Central Bulgaria. It is part of Opan Municipality, Stara Zagora District.

The main road 1-V Rousse-Stara Zagora-Kapitan Andreevo passes through the municipality's territory, as well as the road 111-503 Sredets-Opan-Simeonovgrad. After the finishing of the Orizovo-Kapitan Andreevo segment of the Maritsa highway and of the Trakia highway Sofia-Bourgas, the municipality will be 20 km away from both of these road thoroughfares.

Economy and business
The vision for the future development of Opan Municipality envisages its turning into a municipality with clean nature and modern agriculture, a producer of organic products and an appealing center with authentic Bulgarian folklore traditions. Some of the main resources the municipality has are the following: strategic geographical position; clean environment; high-quality arable land; water resources - dams, a mineral spring; available buildings; good agricultural traditions. A peculiar feature of the local economy is its dependence on one branch - agriculture. Alongside with the agricultural activities and the processing factories there is also a possibility for developing a number of activities and services connected with servicing the transit traffic that passes through the municipality.

Environmental Protection and Tourism
Opan Municipality has a well-functioning eco-system, which is the main advantage in the development of organic agriculture and cattle-breeding. There have never been any industrial factories or environment-polluters in this area. The orthodox Church Saint Archangel Michael in the village of Bialo Pole has been declared a historical monument of local significance.
