The village of Cherepovo is located in southern Bulgaria in Harmanli municipality.
The village is situated in Sakar mountain which makes the region mountainous and incredibly beautiful. There are some artificial lakes as well as small rivers which opens an opportunity for the lovers of fishing. Near-by towns are source of any kind of provisions so the area is well supplied. The mains of living are tobacco-growing and animal husbandry.
The only religion professed is Christianity.
The village has a large history from the time of the Turkish Bondage.
There are very beautiful Thracian mounds in this region which makes it attractive for tourists.
Every year in November the Autumn Fair takes place.
